I bring to your attention new developments that have occurred regarding the swearing-in of SRC APPOINTEES and the steps that have been taken to instill discipline amongst SRC Officers.
The President has signed an instrument to add new features to the existing SRC officers’ ‘CODE OF CONDUCT’ 2021, a working document which shall seek to promote good behavior amongst SRC appointees and that they exude the quality required of such a distinguished office.
He also believes that the first call of discipline should be evident amongst his appointees and holds very much importance to ensuring that there is decorum and the best of working habits amongst Officers of the SRC.
This he hopes will preserve the very sanctity of the SRC and ensure public trust and confidence into the administration.
The Code Of Conduct is in line with the President’s objectives of;
- Increasing the relevance and connection of the SRC with students and ensuring inclusive governance as well as promoting discipline as a Chief Steward.
- Promoting transparency and accountability as the lifeblood of his administration.
The SRC President wishes to assure the student populace that he will continue to work with the same FAITH, dexterity and hard work with this mandate that has been entrusted unto him to reach the ultimate goal. He urges every student to continuously support the efforts of the administration in the coming days.
