Women do raise their voices, not so that they can shout, but for those without a voice to be heard. SRC General Elections is finally here and the office of the Women Commissioner is of equal importance.
Energized to compete for the office of the Women Commissioner are two affable and diligent ladies: Miss Scholastica Yeboah and Miss Delali Forgive Setugah.
The passionate Miss Scholastica Yeboah seeks to lead the change that KNUST woman should be. To uphold the KNUST Woman affairs and empower them for change in society. She stands with the mantra , “The KNUST Woman, The Change to Be”
Another energetic woman seeking to serve the office of the Women Commissioner is Miss Delali Forgive Setugah. She believes a new story could be told about the KNUST Woman, a great story to boost of. She seeks to administer and protect the needs of female students in KNUST. She takes on the
mantra, “The New Narrative”
We need women at all levels, including the top to change the dynamics, to reshape the conversation, to make sure women’s voices are heard and heeded, not overlooked and ignored.
But for who to channel this agenda, it is up for you to decide on Thursday, 5th of August 2021 .
