Entry Requirements

SSSCE Candidates

  • Core Subjects: Credit passes (A – D) in English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science.
  • Elective Subjects: Credit passes in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics.
  • Cut-off Point: Aggregate score of 14 or less due to competitive admission standards.

WASSCE Candidates

  • Core Subjects: Credit passes (A1 – C6) in English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science.
  • Elective Subjects: Credit passes in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics.
  • Cut-off Point: Aggregate score of 16 or less due to competitive admission standards.

Top-Up Applicants

  • Must hold a diploma in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.
  • Work experience in a nutrition-related field is an added advantage.
  • Applicants must pass a competitive interview conducted by the Department.
  • Admission Level: Depending on diploma class and interview performance, applicants may gain entry at Level 200 or 300.
  • Fee-paying status: All top-up applicants are admitted as fee-paying students.

Mature Applicants

  • Must be 25 years or older (proof required).
  • Minimum Academic Qualifications:
    • Passes in at least three (3) core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science.
    • Passes in at least two (2) elective subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • Applicants must pass an entrance examination and interview.
  • Admission Level: Successful applicants will be admitted into Level 100 as fee-paying students.
