The Ghana University Students’ Services Scheme (GUSSS) Hall Management at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has streamlined the accommodation application process to make it easier for students.
If you are facing challenges while applying for a room or bed through the online system, don’t worry! You can now visit any Republic Bank or GCB branch to secure your accommodation with the following steps.
Step-by-Step Guide to Securing Accommodation
Choose Your Room Type:
There are several room types available, each with different rates and payment requirements. Here’s a quick overview:

Make Your Payment:
To secure your bed, visit any Republic Bank or GCB branch and make the required payment. Here are the bank account details you will need:

Submit Your Deposit Slip:
After making the payment, ensure you send pictures or scanned copies of the deposit slips to the GUSSS Halls Manager. You can do this via email at gussshalls@uew.edu.gh or WhatsApp at +233 31 229 9379. Remember that the original deposit slip will need to be inspected before you are issued your room keys.
On-Campus Payments:
For those who prefer to make cash payments on campus, Republic Bank officials will be available at each GUSSS Hall. This allows you to secure your room or bed immediately.
