How to Register for Your Courses Online at the University of Ghana

Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you complete your academic registration using UG’s student and staff portal (MIS Web).

Step-by-Step Guide to Course Registration

Open MIS Web

• Visit the MIS Web portal.

Log in as a Student

• Under the “Registered Users” section, check the box for Student.

Enter Your Credentials

• Input your Student ID Number and PIN, then select Login. Enter your Password and select Login again.

Access the Registration Section

• On the left pane, click on Registration.

Review Rules and Regulations

• From the registration drop-down menu, select Rules and Regulations. Carefully read through them, then accept the terms by selecting Next Step at the bottom right corner.

Select Your Qualification Code

• Click on your Qualification Code (e.g., PVIST3, PVIST6, PARTS3).

Register for Your Qualification

• Select Register for this Qualification.

Choose Your Courses

• Pick the subjects you want to register for.

Save Your Registration

• Click Save & Continue to finalize your selections.

Print Your Proof of Registration

• Ensure you print out the Proof of Registration for your records.
