Steps to Register as an International Student at the University of Ghana
Step 1: Payment of Fees
Before you can proceed with other registrations, you need to pay your tuition and other required fees.
- Note: Payments take up to 48 hours to reflect in the University’s system. You can only move to the next step after your payment is confirmed.

Step 2: Academic and Course Registration Online
Once your payment is confirmed, you must complete your academic and course registration online before arriving on campus.

Step 3: Residential Registration Online (Resident Students Only)
This step is only for students who have secured on-campus accommodation. Make sure you complete academic registration before proceeding with residential registration. Click here to read more.
Follow these steps for residential registration:
- Log in to your account on the Student iEnabler.
- Click on “Residence Registration” on the left side menu.
- Select “Submit Residence Registration”.
- Click on the academic year (e.g., “2024”).
- Review your Hall and Room allocation details.
- Click “I Accept” to confirm your accommodation.
- Print the Proof of Residential Registration for your records.
- On arrival, report to your allocated Hall of Residence for further assistance.
Step 4: Registration at the International Programmes Office
Once you’ve completed your academic and residential registration, you must register with the International Programmes Office.
- Visit the International Programmes Office located on the first floor of the International House, Anne Jiagge Road, near the K.A.B. Jones-Quartey Building.
