Morale or any form of procession on campus at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has been abolished by KNUST Council.
The University Council had a meeting among others to discuss the report of the Fact-Findings Committee which was constituted by the Executive Committee of KNUST following the recent disturbances arising from the Hall Week celebration of the University Hall, Katanga. Is was through the meeting that this decision was taken.
According to a release signed by the Registrar/Secretary to the University Council, A.K Boateng, the Management of the University has taken the decision to dismiss any student who engages him/herself in the organization of morale based on the report of the Fact-Findings Committee.
“Any student who participates in the organisation of ‘morale and/or ‘procession’ shall be SUMMARILY DISMISSED”, the statement said
