Admission And Entry Requirements for Bsc Landscape Design And Management in KNUST
WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants
Science Applicants
These applicants must have credit passes in the three (3) Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science) and also obtain credits in THREE (3) of the following elective subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Elective Mathematics, General Agriculture and Crop and Horticulture.
General Arts Applicants
Applicants, in addition to credit passes in the three (3) Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science), must obtain credits in any THREE of the following elective subjects: Elective Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Technical Drawing and General Knowledge in Art.
Visual Arts Applicants
Applicants, in addition to credit passes in the three (3) Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science), must obtain credits in any THREE of the following elective subjects: General Knowledge in Art, Graphic Design, Chemistry, Picture Making and Sculpture.
Diploma Holders
Diploma holders with Distinction from KNUST may be eligible to progress to degree level without a break. Other Diploma Holders may be admitted after a minimum of TWO (2) years Post Diploma field experience.
A/O LEVEL APPLICANTS
Applicants must have Five (5) credit at O’Level including English Language, Mathematics and Three (3) of the following: Chemistry and Physics, Biology or Additional General Science or General Science. Applicants with Agricultural Science must have a credit in O’Level Biology.
Mature Applicants
Applicants must have attained the age of 25 years at the time of submitting the application forms. The applicant must either possess:
FIVE (5) credits at O’Level including English Language and Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
OR
A Diploma from KNUST or a recognized institution.
OR
Credits in WASSCE/SSSCE Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science), plus THREE Elective Subjects in Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Elective Mathematics or General Agriculture. Short listed applicants must pass an interview.
