Who is the new UCC Registrar in 2024?

Gideon Enoch Abbeyquaye (Esq.) is the new Registrar of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) as of 2024. He was sworn into office on November 1, 2024, succeeding the acting Registrar, Mr. Ebenezer Aggrey. Abbeyquaye has extensive experience with UCC, having served the university since 1996, including his prior role as Director of the Directorate of Academic Affairs.

In his new role, Abbeyquaye aims to enhance operational efficiency and student-centric excellence while leveraging technology-driven leadership and innovation. He has outlined seven guiding themes for his tenure, including regulatory compliance and campus aesthetics, to contribute to UCC’s vision of becoming a globally recognized institution.
