NUGS Basic School Support Project Team Donates Items to Dompoase Methodist School. The Secretary for Education of the National Union of Ghana students, Mr. Kyeremeh Oppong Daniel, and his team have kickstarted the NUGS Basic School Support Project with donations to the Dompoase Methodist Basic School in the Ashanti Region.
The donation was made during the Parent Teachers Association meeting of the school on Tuesday, 15th March, 2022.
The donation was done in partnership with the Dreams of Africa Youth for Change. The donated items include story books, reading book to help enhance their understanding of the English language.
Mr. Kyeremeh Oppong Daniel told Success Africa that the donation was to alleviate the plight of the school children to access education.
They said they saw how the young girls and boys were writing on their laps, a challenge that has made learning not enjoyable but frustrated the children and stopped them from going to school.
Addressing the Parents Teachers Association of the school, Mr. Kyeremeh Oppong Daniel also assured authorities the commitment of the students front to addressing the challenges the school has been embattled for years.

The Headteacher and Teachers were very enthused with gesture and urged the team to continue contributing their widow’s mite to help improve the standards of Basic Education.
The Secretary for Education also engaged the PTA and students and the conversation were very fruitful.
Mr. Kyeremeh expressed his deepest appreciation to Dreams of Africa Youth for Change and all donors for making this happen.
Mr. Kyeremeh also hinted that there are more donation exercises to be rolled out across the country. Items like Computers, Uniforms, building materials and others will be donated to other deprived schools across the country.
