MyTroski is a mobile location-based services software developed by two KNUST social scientists, Dr. Gift Dumedah of the Department of Geography and Rural Development and Professor Charles Marfo of the Department of Communication Sciences and the Provost of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. To create this location-based services app, these two social scientists collaborated with Dr. Samuel Ato Andam-Akorful of the Department of Geomatic Engineering.

The myTroski mobile app can be used to see points of interest and discover information about services in the Oforikrom Municipality’s local area. When you’re on the road, myTroski may provide you with a digital map, a real-time location indicator (GPS), and a written or audio (speech) message in Akan (Twi) or English.
