MS. Mariata Yusifu Biography | College of Science ; Ms. Mariata Yusifu works in the Provost’s Office at the College of Science at KNUST. She started as a Typist Grade II at the University on December 1, 1997, and worked her way up to become a Principal Administrative Assistant via hard work. She presently works as the Secretary to the Provost of KNUST’s College of Science.
Mariata has worked on numerous committees at KNUST, including those at the Procurement Office, the Department of Industrial Art, and the College of Science.
In 2014, she graduated from the University of Education’s Kumasi campus with a BBA Secretarial in Education. She is presently enrolled at KNUST Business School to pursue an MBA in Strategic Management. Mariata has traveled both locally and internationally and gets along with everyone.
She has facilitated several workshops on beading and soap making. She was a Resource Person for the Beading Class in 2019, 2020 and a Panel Member in 2021 of the KNUST Master Card Summer School Programme.
She was a Resource Person for Soap Production (Liquid Soap, Shower Gel and Parazone) during the WISeMatics Skill Training Programme of the College of Science Students’ Association, 2021.
She participated/exhibited in the KNUST Food Festivals 2020 and 2022.
Mariata is very industrious and adventurous. She specializes in beading and the production of detergents. She is happily married with four lovely children.
