Mfantsiman Girls’ Senior High School is an all-girls second-cycle institution in Saltpond in the Central Region of Ghana. Kwame Nkrumah founded the institution in 1960, then known as Saltpond Girls’ Secondary School. The school’s other name is “Syte.”
The school was constructed by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in 1960. According to rumours, the school chose 70 girls for its inaugural class of students from the Common Entrance Examination.

The school’s slogan is “Obra Nye Woarbo” in Twi, which translates to “Life is what you make it.” The school’s colours are mauve and white. The school’s crest features an eagle, a straw basket, an eagle’s claw, and a woman seated on an elephant.
