List of Knust Notable Alumni; Men and women who have finished their studies at KNUST are known as alumni.
The Alumni Association was conceived when it was deemed necessary to develop an organization that would encompass the University’s various generations. By expressing the views of the University’s graduates, the body was supposed to play a significant role in the University’s life.
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Alumni Association was founded in 1961, under the tenure of the first Vice-Chancellor, Dr. R. P. Baffour, of blessed memory.

Advancing knowledge in Science and Technology for sustainable development in Africa.
MISSION
Provide an environment for teaching, research and entrepreneurship training in Science and Technology for the industrial and socio-economic development of Ghana, Africa and other nations. KNUST also offers service to community, is opened to all the people of Ghana and positioned to attract scholars, industrialists and entrepreneurs from Africa and other international communities.
