Management of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has officially set November for the 2022 congregation. According to management, 2022 graduation will be virtual.
For the past 3 years, Virtual Special Congregation/graduation ceremony has been held at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) ONLINE for graduate undergraduate and postgraduate students who completed their respective courses of study due the COVID-19.
The suspended Fmr Knust SRC President, Michael Abuah, revealed during the State of KNUST SRC Address in April that, for the first time in the last 3 years, the 2022 graduation ceremony will be held in person at the Great Hall. But according to the latest 2022/2023 academic calendar, there will be no In-PERSON congregation.

The 2022/2023 Virtual Congregation starts on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, to Saturday, November 26, 2022. The dates are tentative due to the strike.
During the 2021 virtual special congregation, 4,472 students graduated, including 814 undergraduates and 3,658 postgraduates. Regarding the gender, the University graduated 1,563 females, accounting for 34.95 percent of the total number of graduates. Ninety-one (91) postgraduate students were awarded Ph.D.s, with twenty-eight (28) of them being female. This is an increase from the previous year’s number of five females. We hope to see an increment this year.
