Here in the Faculty of Social Sciences, both the students and teachers strive to give their best effort in all that they do. Day after day, students try their best to go about their normal duties with the faculty but are unfortunately faced with so many challenges posing a hinderance to effective teaching and learning.
Although this is the largest faculty within the college, there is so much more than meets the eye. There are several students in need of aid silently dying with. From unpaid school fees to basic necessities, these unfortunate students find it difficult to make ends meet. With only few sponsors of the faculty, there is not enough to cater for all these students. Out of ten thousand students, only forty five were able to benefit from the student trust fund and therefore the rest of these victims have no choice but to wallow in their misery. They have no one, not a single person who hears their cries for help and comes to their aid. Not a single person to help them out. Isn’t there anyone brave enough to voice out these complains and find solutions to them?
All the other teams had nothing, no new ideas. They focused on the minority instead of the majority. However, this will be an act of the past. A new day is dawning on the faculty of social sciences. The sun shining upon the faces of the students no longer brings burns but a gentle caress on their faces which will be adorned with smiles for years to come. With Agyei Anuoh Godwin also known as Baggio as your president and Gideon Amponsah as your vice president, all worries each and every student is facing will come to an end. With these two on your side, they will extend the student trust fund to cater for at least three thousand, five hundred students by working in collaboration with several NGOs to address the financial needs of these students especially in this time of Covid 19. They will work laboriously until the deed is carried out. Your vote is your power, always remember this. Use this power to uplift Baggio for like the wind, he will carry away your burdens and they will cease to exist. Come along and let us give a voice to the voiceless.
