At each level of the association, KNUST students are formally represented. The entire student body is represented by the Students’ Representative Council (SRC). Students are also members of college, faculty, and departmental organizations.

Graduate students have their own representation bodies in the programs offered by their separate departments, both collectively and individually. We are an ideal democratic institution in which the voices of the university’s primary stakeholders are heard and weighed collectively in order to improve administration.
