KNUST Libraries to Host ‘Science Friday’ on Health Awareness
The KNUST Libraries is set to host an engaging edition of its Science Friday series, aimed at promoting knowledge, innovation, and student well-being within the academic community.

Scheduled for Friday, 10th April 2026, the event will take place at the Prempeh II Library Auditorium at exactly 2:00 PM. This week’s session is themed “Deadlines Are Temporary… Your Health is Not!!!”, highlighting the importance of prioritizing personal health despite academic pressures.
The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Mary Amoako, a Senior Lecturer and Registered Dietician at the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology (Nutrition Unit), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. With her expertise in nutrition and health, Dr. Amoako is expected to provide valuable insights into maintaining a healthy lifestyle while navigating demanding academic schedules.
Science Friday continues to serve as a platform for intellectual engagement, bringing together students, researchers, and professionals to explore thought-provoking topics. This edition, in particular, seeks to address the growing concern of student burnout and the neglect of health in pursuit of academic success.
