Call for Applications: Hulede Foundation Scholarship for the 2025/2026 Academic Year.
The Hulede Foundation has opened applications for its 2025/2026 Academic Year Scholarship, aimed at supporting brilliant but financially needy continuing Ghanaian students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
The scholarship provides one-year financial assistance to selected students pursuing a full-time regular programme at the University. The application deadline is Sunday, 25th January 2026.
Eligibility
This scholarship opportunity is available to all continuing Ghanaian students at KNUST who demonstrate both academic excellence and financial need.
Fresh Applicants (First-Time Applicants)
- Open to all regular continuing Ghanaian students with a CWA of 65 or higher.
- First-year students are not eligible, as their tuition is covered under the University’s No Fees Stress Policy.
- Final-year first-time applicants must complete 40 hours of community service and submit proof before the deadline.
- Applicants are required to collect a Hulede Foundation T-shirt from the Directorate of Student Affairs and wear it during the service period.
Former Beneficiaries (Renewal Applicants)
- Final-year renewal applicants must have completed a minimum of 80 hours of community service, with proof submitted.
- All other renewal applicants must have completed at least 40 hours of community service, also with submission.
Application Requirements
Prospective applicants must submit the following documents:
- Endorsed Academic Transcript
- A one-page statement of financial need explaining why they should be considered for the scholarship
- At least two recommendation letters
- Copies of any awards or certificates (if available)
Important Notes
- Students who follow the Hulede Foundation on social media will be given priority.
- All written submissions must be typed in Times New Roman, font size 12, and double-spaced.
- Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview.
