  2. A call comes through from a person claiming to be from your cell phone company, stating there’s a network issue.
  3. The caller instructs you to press “1” to restore your network.

  • DO NOT PRESS ANYTHING: Immediately cut or end the call. If you press “1”, your phone will be hacked, and your account will be compromised.
