NKWA HIA Awareness Campaign Set to Promote Road Safety
On Friday 21st March 2025 , Synergy Communications, Public Pelations Company owned by students from the Media and Communication Department,in collaboration with the University Driving School, will launch the “Nkwa Hia” Awareness campaign. The event, aimed at promoting road safety, will take place in front of the Department of Language and communication sciences.
The “Nkwa Hia” Awareness campaign seeks to educate road users, particularly students and young drivers, on the importance of road safety and responsible driving practices. The campaign’s name, “Nkwa Hia,” which translates to “Arrive Alive,” emphasizes the critical need for road users to prioritize their safety and the safety of others.
The event will feature interactive sessions, presentations, and demonstrations on road safety best practices. Representatives from the University Driving School will provide valuable insights and tips on defensive driving, while Synergy Communications will share expertise on effective communication strategies for promoting road safety awareness.
The event is open to all students, staff, and members of the university community. Participants are encouraged to arrive early, as the event promises to be an engaging and informative experience.
