Entry Requirements for Certificate Programmes (Weekends)
1. Applicants with WASSCE Certificates
- Passes (A-E8) in five (5) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science.
2. Applicants with SSSCE Certificates
- Passes (A-E) in five (5) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science.
3. Applicants with Ordinary Level Certificates
- Passes in five (5) GCE O-Level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and Science.
4. Other Applicants
- Candidates must be at least 20 years old and hold any of the following:
- Diploma in Business Studies (DBS)
- Middle School Leaving Certificate (MSLC)
- National Vocational and Technical Institute (NVTI) Certificate
- Technician Part I or II Certificate
- Basic Education Certificate (BEC) or equivalent
- Applicants must also pass an interview conducted by the department.
5. International Applicants
- Apply online at UMaT International Applications.

The closing date for submission of 2024/2025 undergraduate application documents is December 6, 2024. Late applications will not be accepted.
Notification of Admission
- Selected applicants will receive an SMS notification on their provided contact numbers.
- The list of admitted students will also be published on the UMaT website (Admission List).
