Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Libraries to Host Science Friday on Geophysical Exploration
The KNUST Libraries will host another edition of its Science Friday series aimed at promoting scientific dialogue and knowledge sharing within the academic community.
The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, 13th March 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Prempeh II Library Auditorium.
This edition of Science Friday will be held under the theme “Muskets and Megahertz: A Geophysical Detective Story.” The programme seeks to explore how modern geophysical techniques are used to investigate and interpret hidden structures beneath the earth’s surface, providing insights into scientific discoveries and technological advancements.
The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Cyril Dziedzorm Boateng, a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the Department of Physics, KNUST. During the session, Dr. Boateng is expected to share his expertise in geophysics and demonstrate how scientific tools and technologies help researchers solve complex environmental and geological mysteries.
Science Friday is one of the academic initiatives organised by KNUST Libraries to encourage intellectual engagement among students, researchers, and faculty members.
