The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has officially announced a call for creative submissions for its 75th Anniversary logo, inviting students and alumni to contribute to a historic milestone in the University’s journey.
As the institution prepares to celebrate 75 years of academic excellence and global impact, it is seeking an official anniversary emblem that will capture its legacy, vision, and aspirations. The selected logo will serve as the central visual identity for the 75th Anniversary celebrations and will be used across events, publications, souvenirs, and digital platforms.
Theme: Excellence to Eminence – 75 Years of KNUST
The anniversary celebration is anchored on the theme, “Excellence to Eminence: 75 Years of KNUST.” This theme reflects the University’s steady growth from a center of excellence to a globally recognized institution of eminence in science, technology, innovation, and leadership.
Participants are encouraged to design logos that embody the University’s rich heritage while projecting its future ambitions.
Submission Expectations
According to the guidelines provided, entries must:
- Reflect KNUST’s rich heritage and tradition
- Showcase academic excellence
- Highlight innovation and forward-thinking
- Represent the University’s global impact over the past 75 years
- Project its aspiration for continued eminence
- Be suitable for use on anniversary materials including souvenirs, publications, and digital platforms
The winning design will be adopted as the official anniversary emblem and the creator will receive formal recognition from the University.
