GOLD FIELDS Ghana Foundation Team Visits KNUST to Engage Scholarship Beneficiaries.
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, recently hosted a delegation from the GOLD FIELDS Ghana Foundation as part of the Foundation’s commitment to supporting academically gifted but financially disadvantaged students.
Since its establishment, the Foundation has awarded over 2,000 scholarships, with 58 KNUST students currently benefiting from the initiative. The visiting team, led by Executive Secretary Mr. Abdel-Razak Yakubu, aimed to strengthen ties with the University’s management and interact directly with scholarship recipients.
“We are here to engage with the students and gain insight into the challenges they face. Beyond financial assistance, we are exploring additional ways to support their academic journey,” Mr. Yakubu stated.
The visit underscores the Foundation’s dedication to fostering education and empowering students for a brighter future.
