Whether seeking a quiet corner to focus, a comfortable space to relax, or an inviting spot to socialize, these areas provide an escape from the campus bustle while encouraging interaction.

A Student-Led Initiative

The project was initiated by Mr. Felix Kofi Adusei, the 2024 GRASAG President at KNUST. Recognizing the challenges faced by weekend stream graduate students in finding suitable study spaces during breaks, Adusei sought to create more comfortable and conducive learning environments.

Student Feedback and Appreciation

Students have welcomed these new spaces, appreciating the effort to provide comfortable options for rest and social interaction. Kelvin, a second-year Biochemistry student, expressed his enthusiasm for the new space, saying, “This space is useful, especially when you’re on campus with some free time and no class to attend. Having a place to relax is essential.”
