Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Programme at UDS for 2024/2025 Academic Year

The University for Development Studies (UDS) is pleased to announce its accreditation by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) to offer the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programme. This rigorous programme prepares students for admission to the professional training course at the Ghana School of Law. Applications are now open for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Programme Details

Three-Year Post First-Degree LLB Programme

• Schedule: Evening classes from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily.
• Eligibility: Applicants must hold a first degree in any discipline from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second-Class Lower.

Additional Requirements:

• Credit passes in three (3) core and three (3) elective subjects from WASSCE/SSSCE/GBCE.
• Alternatively, five (5) GCE ‘O’ Level passes, including English Language, Mathematics, and a science subject, plus three (3) ‘A’ Level passes and a pass in General Paper.

Domestic Applicants:

1. Purchase an e-voucher for GH¢ 200.00 from designated banks, including Stanbic Bank, GCB Bank, and others.
2. Visit the UDS admissions portal at www.admissions.uds.edu.gh to complete the online application.
3. Upload a passport-size photo with a white background and relevant certificates.
4. Submit the application after verifying all details.

International Applicants:

1. Request a free e-voucher by emailing international@uds.edu.gh.
2. Access the admissions portal and complete the application process.
3. Upload a passport-size photo with a white background and relevant certificates.
4. Submit the form after verifying all details.

Selection Process

Shortlisted applicants will take an entrance examination (non-refundable fee required). Successful candidates will then proceed to a selection interview. Dates for these will be communicated to eligible applicants.
