Graduates who have completed payment are required to collect their academic gowns from the University Stores Department starting Monday, 23rd March 2026, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The university has also indicated that graduates who may be unable to attend the congregation ceremony will still be required to pay the graduation fee before they can collect their certificates.
Pre-Congregation Activities
As part of the activities leading up to the main ceremony, the university will organise an Awards Ceremony on Thursday, 26th March 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the University Auditorium. This event will recognise outstanding graduating students for their academic excellence and achievements. Invitations will be issued to all award recipients.
In addition, dress rehearsals for the congregation ceremony will take place on Thursday, 26th March 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the University Ceremonial Grounds. All graduating students are expected to participate in the rehearsal to ensure the smooth organisation of the main ceremony.
Important Guidelines for Graduands
The university has issued several guidelines for all graduating students to observe during the congregation:
Graduands are permitted to attend the ceremony with only two guests. They are also encouraged to make their own accommodation arrangements and have their refreshment outside the campus.
The university will provide a live stream of the ceremony on its official Facebook page, allowing friends, family members, and the general public to follow the event online.
After the ceremony, graduates are required to return the full set of academic gowns, including the hood, gown, and cap, to the designated collection points immediately. Failure to do so will attract a daily penalty of GH₵50.00 from the day of default.
Furthermore, all graduates must complete their clearance processes before the congregation dates to facilitate the smooth collection of their certificates.
Souvenirs and Enquiries
During the event, ATU-branded souvenirs will be available for purchase at the congregation grounds for graduates and guests.
For additional information or enquiries, graduates and the general public may contact the university via 0332095371 or WhatsApp 0543264917, or visit the university’s official website.
The 25th Congregation ceremony is expected to celebrate the dedication and hard work of ATU’s graduates while reinforcing the university’s commitment to integrity, creativity, and excellence in technical and professional education. 🎓
